Staff picks: Something's gotta give in next chapter of this rivalry taken on the South Side (Steelers)

BALTIMORE RAVENS

Arthur Maulet addresses his teammates during Ravens' practice at the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills, Md.

Each week, our football staff at DK Pittsburgh Sports predicts the Steelers' result, along with sharing a few related thoughts.

For a full preview of the matchup with the Ravens, check out my breakdown.

Chris Halicke (2-2): Something's got to give this Sunday. Lamar Jackson is 2-3 with a 67.4 passer rating against the Steelers. There's something about playing the black and gold that makes him suck. But, the Steelers are playing terrible right now. What happens when a resistible force meets a very movable object? Bottom line, I have no confidence in this team getting a win this week. They need a long look in the mirror to fix a lot of things. I believe we'll see a better product this Sunday, but not enough to beat a very good Ravens team. Baltimore scores late to make a somewhat closer game look like a blowout. Ravens, 27-13

Corey Crisan (2-2): I'm not confident the Steelers can pull it together enough, especially with Kenny Pickett nursing a knee injury. A lot will have to be corrected from last week in order for the Steelers to earn a win here. That said, the magic of AFC North ball always dictates this remains close. Ravens, 17-10

Matt Williamson (1-3): I'm torn. Is this an old school Ravens/Steelers low scoring slugfest that will be decided by three points or less...or...does Baltimore (clearly the better team) win this game going away? History suggests otherwise, but I am leaning more towards the latter. The Steelers just have too many problems right now. Baltimore, 24-10

Ramon Foster (2-2): I don't have anything to say, not until they go out and prove that this offense is capable. I'm not going to sugarcoat this, man. Lamar is solid. If we can't stop the run and he's got wide receivers, and we've got players in the locker room giving bulletin board material. I just don't feel comfortable. All in all, I wouldn't be shocked if this team wins because of how I expect them to respond, but it's hard for me to see it with how it's looked. Ravens, 24-12
