THE SETUP

Big opportunity to pick up some points here in the standings here tonight. The Islanders won, 5-1, last night over the Devils, giving them a three-point lead over the Penguins in the standings with the Penguins having two games in hand. The Panthers lost, 5-2, to the Senators, keeping them three points behind the Penguins with a game in hand.

Dejan and I are both in Detroit for this one. The Penguins will have an 11:30 a.m. morning skate first. I'll cover that myself, then Dejan will join me at puck drop.
