THE SETUP

The Penguins are winners of three in a row and will host the Flames tonight here at PPG Paints Arena. They'll hold an optional morning skate at 10:30 a.m., then the puck drops for the game at 7:08 p.m. I'll have your coverage for the morning skate, then Taylor Haase and Dejan Kovacevic will join me for the game.

There will be a pregame ceremony in honor of Evgeni Malkin playing his 1,000th NHL game. The ceremony will include a video highlighting moments throughout Malkin's 17 seasons with the Penguins, as well as messages from current and former teammates.
