THE SETUP
The Penguins lost a crusher last night, 4-3, to the Bruins. Their season is essentially on the line every game from here on out. They're right back at it for another one today. It's a 6:08 p.m. puck drop against the Flyers. There won't be a morning skate due to the back-to-back, so Mike Sullivan will speak with reporters at 3:45 p.m. for his pregame media availability. Taylor Haase will cover that, then I'll join her for puck drop.
The Penguins will honor Kris Letang's 1,000th game in a ceremony prior to the game. Taylor wrote a feature on Letang and his road to 1,000 here.
