Jarrod Prugar
Jarrod Prugar, born and raised in Altoona, Pa., covers Robert Morris basketball and the Altoona Curve for DK Pittsburgh Sports.
Jarrod graduated from Robert Morris University with a degree in Sport Management. He previously covered Penn State for Pittsburgh Sporting News and Pittsburgh Sports Report. He also covered the Curve for Locked on Pirates and Pirates Breakdown.
Jarrod lived in Pittsburgh for three years following his graduation and moved back to Altoona in 2016, where he currently works for the Central Blair Recreation and Parks Commission as a program coordinator. He coaches baseball at the 16u and Little League levels, as well as football at the middle school level. Jarrod enjoys long walks to first base and getting to different stadiums around the country whenever the opportunity arises. He is an avid Robert Morris fan and can be seen at mid-court hounding officials while cheering his beloved Colonials.
