The Nailers' leading goal-scorer, Kyle Jackson, hit 20 on Saturday in a 4-3 win over the Reading Royals in Wheeling, W.Va.
Jackson, 22, is a second-year pro who was the Kraken's seventh-round pick in 2022. This is his first year in the Penguins' organization, having signed an AHL contract this past summer. His 40 points in 44 games ranks second on the team behind Matty De St. Phalle's 43.
The Nailers' other goals came from Gabe Klassen, Logan Pietila and Jordan Martel. Jaxon Castor stopped 23 of 26 shots.
