Each week, our football staff at DK Pittsburgh Sports normally predicts the Steelers' result, along with sharing a few related thoughts.

This week, we're predicting which team will win Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Ariz.

Chris Halicke (10-7): Many games are won in the trenches. And, the Eagles have gotten to this stage thanks in large part to exceptional play up front on both sides. It also helps quite a bit that Jalen Hurts has developed into a very productive quarterback that has legitimate weapons. And, that Philadelphia defense will not make it easy for Patrick Mahomes and the outstanding Chiefs' offense. That being said, I just can't bet against Mahomes. He just rightfully won the MVP again after another stellar season, and I have no reason to believe Mahomes can't do enough in this game to bring the Lombardi back to Kansas City again. Chiefs, 30-27

Matt Williamson (9-8): This lines up to being an exceptional football game and betting against Mahomes seems like madness, but I have the Eagles winning this game. I can see Philadelphia hitting some big plays down field and I expect their offensive line to control the game in both phases. Mahomes should also see a lot of pressure, but he will make more than his share of plays. Eagles, 32-31

Ramon Foster (9-8): I think this is one of the closest spreads in the Super Bowl, if I'm not mistaken. Both quarterbacks are both good enough to win the game for their team. Kansas City has a good defense. Chris Jones is that good. Frank Clark is still there. Can their D-tackles and Jones stop the run? Linebackers from Kansas City are just as good as anybody's, and the secondary is too. Offensively, we know what we're getting ourselves into. But, Philly's defense is monstrous. Haason Reddick is that good. Fletcher Cox is still good. Javon Hargrave's got double-digit sacks. Back end of the secondary is really good. Offensively, they're run heavy, but they can take the top off the defense too with A.J. Brown and Davonta Smith. The best team in this matchup is probably Philly. I think the better coached team may be Kansas City. But, I've got Philly winning (and it's so hard to even say that). Eagles, 26-24

Dejan Kovacevic (7-10): There’s one answer for beating a trench team, and that’s to run/throw around/over them, and I’m not feeling that matchup from the Kansas City perspective because of Mahomes’ ankle. He uses his mobility to create his passing lanes, not just to scramble. And I don’t see his line keeping Javon Hargrave and Fletcher Cox at bay. They’ll force him out of the pocket against his will. He’ll battle, but … Eagles, 27-17
