An Uber Eats delivery guy walks onto the court (lower right) during Duquesne's game against Loyola Chicago, causing the game to be briefly stopped.

Hey, you gotta credit the guy for being thorough and persistent in doing his job!

The best highlight of the night in college basketball Wednesday occurred during Duquesne's come-from-behind win over Loyola Chicago at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. The video below captures the final moments of what happened.

And for the full effect, here's the entire video sequence. Pay close attention to the excellent play-by-play work from Tim Benz and Ellis Cannon of the goofy scene, which went viral immediately on social media.

"He had a job to do. Did his job well," Dukes coach Keith Dambrot said with a smile when asked after the game about the bizarre incident.

OK, so the actual game itself was overshadowed by that silliness, but it was still a very important game for Duquesne.

The Dukes had a rough first half and trailed by nine at the break, then stormed out of the locker room with a 10-0 run to get right back in it. Things were close for most of the second half before Duquesne poured it on late for a 72-58 win over the Ramblers.

Duquesne trailed 54-52 with 5:59 to go, then the Dukes outscored the visitors 20-4 the rest of the way.

This was a key win for Duquesne (14-7, 4-4 Atlantic 10) because it snapped a two-game losing streak and came against the league's last-place team in Loyola Chicago (7-13, 1-7).

Dae Dae Grant and Jimmy Clark III had 13 points apiece to lead Duquesne, while R.J. Gunn added 12 off the bench.

Just like the Uber Eats guy made his delivery, Grant delivered two big shots that turned the game in the Dukes' favor. His jumper put Duquesne ahead to stay, 56-54, and he buried a 3-pointer on the next trip to start the late-game run.

The Dukes' next game is Saturday at UMass, with a 4 p.m. tipoff.
