Just as the Steelers could welcome back one of their top defensive players in T.J. Watt, they lost one of their top offensive players.
Chris Boswell was officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles due to a groin injury. But, after missing practice Friday, he was downgraded to out on Saturday.
Boswell had not appeared on the injury report before Friday.
Boswell is 12-for-16 on field goal attempts on the season, including a game-winner in overtime against the Bengals in Week 1, and 9-for-9 on extra points this season.
If Boswell is unavailable, the Steelers will have to sign a replacement kicker.
Josh Jackson (groin) was also listed as questionable for Sunday after being limited in practice Thursday and Friday, but he was also ruled out Saturday.
Levi Wallace (shoulder) and Larry Ogunjobi (knee) are both ruled out after not practicing this week.
Pat Freiermuth (ankle), Ahkello Witherspoon (hamstring), Montravius Adams (hamstring) and Steven Sims (hamstring) have both been full participants the last two practices.
Cam Heyward also appeared on the report, but only as a resting player on Thursday. It was not injury related.
The Steelers and Eagles kickoff at Lincoln Financial Field Sunday at 1:02 p.m.
