PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

PHILADELPHIA -- Each week, our football staff at DK Pittsburgh Sports predicts the Steelers' result, along with sharing a few related thoughts.

Chris Halicke (2-5): I'm actually a bit more optimistic about this team moving forward. I still don't have faith that Matt Canada is the right coordinator for this offense, and for that, it'll be very difficult for them to realize their potential this season. However, I believe the 2-5 start has truly galvanized this group. Even as a second-year player, Najee Harris is turning into one heck of a leader that isn't afraid to hold his teammates accountable when they want to point the finger. Yes, I do believe things will get better this season. But, not until after the bye week. Philadelphia is just too dang good and simply better at every facet of the game. Eagles, 33-16

Matt Williamson (1-6): As it historically is, it is going to be a long day for the Steelers in Philadelphia. It is really difficult to find matchups in Pittsburgh's favor in this game. The Eagles are really good on both lines of scrimmage and overall, are an excellent and complete football team that is at home and coming off their bye. The second half of the season will be better, Steelers fans. I promise you that. But, the Black and Gold are going to take their lumps on Sunday. Eagles, 32-17

Ramon Foster (2-5): I'm going with Philly. I put the Bills ahead of them, because I like what they have. But, it's 1 and 1A when it comes down to what Philadelphia is in this league. That defense just got richer. I know Robert Quinn's production hasn't been as great. But, when you're in Chicago with that team, it's going to be low anyway. I don't know how this offensive line is going to stand up. Eagles, 33-12

Dejan Kovacevic (1-6): This isn’t Tampa Bay II. There won’t be a sequel. This opponent’s too tough, too thorough. It’s best to expect progress on both sides of the ball, and even that’s being generous. Let’s see Kenny throw downfield. Let’s some semblance of a running game. Let’s the defense get after Jalen Hurts. Just get better. Eagles, 32-17
