It's official. The robo-Penguin is back.
All 32 NHL teams on Thursday revealed their "Reverse Retro 2.0" jerseys for this season, a concept that takes a previous jersey concept of a team and "reverses" it in some way, giving it a new color scheme in most cases.
The Penguins will be using the jerseys introduced in the 1992-93 season that were originally primarily white, now made to be mostly black:

The inside of the back collar has the year "1992" printed on it for the year the jersey first debuted.
For my first Survey Says feature this season, I went around the Penguins' locker room during training camp and asked as many current players as I could for their thoughts on the logo. The players were overwhelmingly in support of the logo, with various players saying it reminds them of Jaromir Jagr, Mario Lemieux, Alexei Kovalev, Ulf Samuelsson and Tom Barrasso.
"I like it," said Sidney Crosby, who wore the logo as a shoulder patch until it was removed following the 2006-07 season. "We're lucky we've had some different jerseys, some cool ones. But that one, I think of probably later on for Mario and then Jagr right in his prime. That's when they used to wear white at home."
"I love it," Jake Guentzel said. "It's an old-school kind of logo, I can't wait to see it. Jagr, Lemieux, those guys, I love that."
The Penguins will wear the jersey seven times this season:
Nov. 15 vs. TOR
Nov. 25 at PHI
Nov. 29 vs. CAR
Dec. 6 vs. CBJ
Dec. 20 vs. NYR
Jan. 10 vs. VAN
Jan. 25 vs. FLA
Fans can preorder the jerseys at PensGear through Nov. 15, and will become available inside PensGear stores and at adidas.com and NHLShop.com on Nov. 15.
