RICHMOND, Va. -- I’ll be honest … both the Pirates and Steelers are kind of a mess right now, and as such, I’m feeling like the less said, the better.

So this week, let’s focus on the Olympic exploits of Monroeville’s Roger Kingdom, who in 1988, decked out in of the more memorable getups in the history of the sport of track and field, set an Olympic record in the 110m hurdles event, his second consecutive gold medal at the Summer Games. He would set the world record in the event in 1989, holding it for four years, before retiring and embarking on a second act as a Super Bowl winning conditioning coach on Bruce Arians’ staff.
