The 2022 Pitt women's basketball non-conference schedule was released on Friday, and it's loaded with games to be hosted at the Petersen Events Center.
The Panthers have just one true non-conference road game on their schedule: Its first one at Coppin State on Nov. 7 in Baltimore.
After that, Pitt returns for a three-game home stand before trekking to Fort Myers, Fla. for the inaugural Women's Fort Myers Tip-off from Nov. 25-27 at Florida SouthWestern State College.
Included in that home stand is the return of the City Game against Duquesne on Nov. 19 in the 40th all-time meeting between the teams. Pitt leads the series, 22-17, after winning at Duquesne last season.
Pitt then returns home for four games in a row, including their ACC/Big Ten Challenge game against Illinois on Nov. 30. Non-conference play ends on either Dec. 20 or Dec. 21 against North Alabama.
Pitt went 9-3 in non-conference play last season, which included wins over Northwestern and Rutgers.
