Brian Boyle underwent successful left knee surgery on Monday, Ron Hextall announced.
The surgery was performed by team physician Dr. Dharmesh Vyas and is expected to have a recovery timeframe of six weeks.

Boyle, 37, will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
