The Penguins secured the No. 3 seed in the Metropolitan Division and a first-round matchup with the Rangers with a 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets in Friday's regular-season finale.

The Stanley Cup Playoffs open on Monday, but the Penguins' series with the Rangers won't open until the following day. The full schedule is as follows:

Game 1: May 3, 7 p.m. at New York
Game 2: May 5, 7 p.m. at New York
Game 3: May 7, 7 p.m. at Pittsburgh
Game 4: 
May 9, 7 p.m. at Pittsburgh

May 11, TBD at New York
*Game 6: 
May 13, TBD at Pittsburgh

May 15, TBD at New York

All of the games in the first round will be aired locally on AT&T SportsNet. Games 1 and 4 will be broadcast on ESPN in the United States. Games 2 and 3 will be broadcast on TNT. The first four games will be carried on CBC, Sportsnet and TVA Sports in Canada. The broadcast details for Games 5, 6, and 7 will be announced at a later date if those games are necessary.
