ALTOONA, Pa. -- Another Atlantic 10 game, another loss for Duquesne as the Dukes were dismantled 74-50 by Davidson Wednesday night at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. It marked the 13th loss in a row for head coach Keith Dambrot's squad that started four freshmen.
Sophomore Kevin Easley, Jr. led the Dukes with 16 points of the bench while freshman Tyson Acuff added 15 of his own in the loss. Acuff's 15 points were good for his fourth double-digit scoring night of the season, his first since December. The 31 points Acuff and Easley accounted for were well over half of Duquesne's scoring output which was a season-low 50 points.
Freshman center Mounir Hima hauled in 10 boards in his first career start. Hima joined Acuff, sophomore forward Tre Williams, and freshmen guards Toby Okani and Mike Bekelja in the starting lineup the fifth different starting lineup in five games and 11th different starting group overall.
