RICHMOND, Va. -- Since I’ve been thinking a lot about milestones of late, as Sidney Crosby takes the ice in Newark tonight with a chance at tallying his 500th goal, and of athletes from the good ol’ US of A, as the Olympics take place and give every citizen a little jolt of national pride, here’s the great Joe Mullen, on the occasion of becoming the first American player to reach 1,000 career points!
