Louis Riddick hasn't worked in an NFL front office since 2013. But he's been an NFL analyst for ESPN for a number of years.
And now he'll be the next person interviewed to potentially replace Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert.
According to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the former Pitt star is slated to interview for the position.
The #Steelers are scheduled to interview ESPN commentator Louis Riddick for their vacant GM job, sources say. He last worked in the NFL as the #Eagles Director of Pro Personnel in 2013.

Riddick, 52, would join a list of people to interview for the position that includes internal candidates Brandon Hunt and Omar Khan, and external candidates Ed Dodds, assistant GM for the Colts, Chargers director of of player personnel JoJo Wooden and Titans vice president of player personnel Ryan Cowden.
Colbert, who has been with the Steelers since 2000, plans to retire at the conclusion of this year's draft in April once his contract runs out.
Riddick would be an interesting hire. He's well regarded in NFL circles for his player evaluation, but hasn't worked in the league since being director of pro personnel for the Eagles from 2010 through 2013. He began his scouting career with Washington in 2001, rising to director of pro personnel in 2005.
The past two seasons, he has worked as an analyst on ESPN's Monday Night Football team after spending several seasons as an in-studio analyst.
Riddick, a safety, played collegiately at Pitt and was a ninth-round draft pick of the 49ers in 1991.
