ALTOONA, Pa. -- Richmond rode a second half in which the Spiders shot 55 percent to a 17-point victory over Duquesne Tuesday night at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
It was the fifth straight win over the Dukes in Pittsburgh for Richmond who pushed Duquesne to 6-13 and 1-6 in the Atlantic 10.
Leon Ayers III paced the Dukes with 14 points while Toby Okani added 13 of his own on the evening. Tre Williams pitched in 10 as one of seven Duquesne players who scored against the Spiders. Primo Spears tossed in seven assists to go with five points.
The loss was the sixth straight for head coach Keith Dambrot's team as they struggle to find an identity leading up to March.
