Dukes can't outlast last second half surge from Colorado taken in Altoona, Pa. (Duquesne)

DUQUESNE ATHLETICS

Tre Williams looks to pass against Buffalo.

ALTOONA, Pa. -- Duquesne made it into overtime without trailing against Colorado before the Buffaloes ultimately pulled away to notch an 84-76 victory over the Dukes in the Paradise Jam Saturday night.

Colorado tied the game with a three pointer with three seconds left before outscoring Duquesne 16-8 in overtime. The loss spoiled stellar days from Kevin Easley, Jr. and Tre WIlliams as Easley had a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds while Williams added 17 points and seven blocks for the Dukes.

Duquesne had an 11-point lead with 7:29 left to play before squandering that lead and allowing the Buffaloes to creep back in the game and tie it. In overtime, Colorado equaled it's three-point total with two to put the game out of reach for the Dukes.

Saturday's loss moved Duquesne to 1-4 on the season and is the fourth loss in a row for Keith Dambrot's group after a season-opening win against Rider. The Dukes will now play Bradley on Monday before heading back stateside.
