Penguins-Flyers exhibition will mark NHL's return taken on the North Shore (Penguins)

The 24 NHL teams that will playing this summer will each play one exhibition game after moving into their hub cities, with games scheduled to take place from July 28-30.

The Penguins will face the Flyers in their exhibition game, the NHL announced on Tuesday. The game will be the first exhibition game of the schedule, with a 4 p.m. start on July 28.

Other exhibition matchups are also rivalry games, including Maple Leafs vs. Canadiens, Oilers vs. Flames, Lightning vs. Panthers, Blues vs. Blackhawks, and Islanders vs. Rangers. The full exhibition schedule can be seen below:

The Penguins will open the qualifying round against the Canadiens in the primetime slot on Aug. 1. The qualifying round schedule can be found here.
