Pitt football announces coronavirus ticket policy taken on the North Shore (Pitt)

A quick run through the college football headlines across the nation shows the sport is swirling in uncertainty.

There were 23 Clemson players who recently tested positive for covid-19. Kansas State suspended football activities for two weeks after 14 athletes across all the school's sports had a positive test result. At LSU, some players were placed in quarantine after reports of positive tests. Notre Dame on Monday announced it had a football play test positive.

As testing for the virus expands and more positive results are being found, the news is enough to make fans wonder if purchasing tickets for the upcoming season is a wise decision. Pitt said Monday in a release it hopes to ease those concerns.

The athletic department announced a 2020 football ticket guarantee.

The release says: "If, for any reason, the 2020 season or any portion of the home schedule is not played, the value of the affected tickets, scholarship seating and parking payments will be refunded to fans who purchased through the Panther Ticket Office."
