Roethlisberger: 'Help each other out' taken on the North Shore (Steelers)

Ben Roethlisberger and his family shared a video message on Friday talking about how they are spending their time during the coronavirus outbreak, and also thanked healthcare workers for their work during the outbreak.

"Hey everyone, Ben Roethlisberger here," he said. "I just wanted to take a moment to make a quick video to let everyone know that we're doing well here locked down in the house. Just letting everyone know we're thinking about them and praying for everyone.

"If you absolutely have to leave your house, which we encourage not doing, but if you have to, I just hope everyone practices good social distancing. Six, eight feet away from everyone. But if you're locked down in your house like we are, there's a lot of fun things that you can do and figure out. We spent the morning figuring out a curriculum for the next few weeks of homeschooling for the kids and putting together a great schedule. There's some other fun things that we're going to discuss that you can do in the house."

Roethlisberger then went around his table asking his family what they liked to do during the quarantine.

"Playing charades," said his youngest son Bodie.

"I've enjoyed listening to the kids read books," said his wife Ashley.

"Riding my bike and having my birthday party," said his daughter Baylee.

"Hitting golf balls in the backyard," said his oldest son Ben.

"So, as you can see there's lots of different things you can do as a family during this especially difficult and unusual time in our lives in this country," Roethlisberger said. "We'd also like to take a minute to let all the first responders, doctors, nurses, the P.A.s, everyone that's working in the healthcare world, to just let them know that we're thinking about them, praying for them, as well as anyone that's been affected.

"Everyone stay safe, pray for each other, help each other out, don't be afraid to do what you can to FaceTime, to make calls, to connect with people to let them know that you're thinking about them and you love them. We send all of our love and prayers to everyone out there. Everyone stay safe, and God bless."
