Femi Odukale, a 6-foot-5, 180-pound three-star guard from Springfield, Mass., is coming to Pitt.
Odukale announced the news Tuesday afternoon on his Instagram:
Odukale received 10 offers — Pitt, University of Massachusetts, St. Bonaventure, Manhattan, New Mexico, Niagara, Virginia Tech, Seton Hall, Stony Brook and Washington State — before making his decision. Odukale visited Pitt four times and planned a fifth visit before all related travel activity was shut down due to growing concerns surrounding the spread of novel coronavirus/COVID-19.
Still, Jeff Capel got his guy.
Odukale was the No. 1-ranked senior in the state of Massachusetts and his stock rose throughout his final year at the high-school level.
Long and athletic, Odukale stuffs the stat sheet and should provide Capel and company flexibility at both ends of the floor. More pressing? A pass-first point guard with size?
Odukale seemingly brings that:

With this and with the transfer of Ryan Murphy, Pitt still has one open scholarship for the 2020-21 season. They've been linked to four-star forward William Jeffress out of McDowell High School in Erie, Pa., for months and have extended a formal offer to him as well. Jeffress is also being recruited by the likes of Baylor, Notre Dame, Penn State and Maryland.
Odukale will join four-star, 6-foot-9 power forward John Hugley, 6-foot-10 center Max Amadasun and 6-foot-8 forward Noah Collier as part of the 2020-21 incoming class.
