Even machines are attacking Antonio Brown now.

On Instagram Live, Brown was being filmed working out, when he got crushed in the head by a nearby piece of equipment. Brown went down, but the video cut to black as well, as the person filming apparently dropped or tilted the phone.

Brown was OK, apparently, as he took to his Instagram moments later to drop the following comment:

"That [expletive] hit harder then Vontaze Burfict," Brown wrote, an obvious reference to the illegal knockout hit he took from Burfict during the Steelers' 2015 Wild Card win over the Bengals.

Pretty funny, honestly. It's a shame Brown wasn't wearing his Schutt AiR Advantage in the gym, which could have saved him from any impact.

Brown's workouts, of course, are impressive as ever, but he remains unsigned by an NFL team despite a recent apology tour that's seen him issue apologies to Ben RoethlisbergerJuJu Smith-Schuster and others.

Speaking with ESPN during a recent interview, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said the team has "no current business interest" in Brown.

Brown was traded to the Raiders for a third- and a fifth-round draft choice before the 2019 season but never played a game in the Black and Silver following a variety of dust-ups, most notably engaging in a public scuffle with Raiders GM Mike Mayock. There was also that whole cryotherapy issue. And the helmet fiasco.

Despite all this, the Patriots still signed Brown after the Raiders released him, appearing in one game and catching four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown. Following that game, however, Brown was accused of sexual assault and rape by a former trainer, prompting the Patriots to release him. He has not played since, and that investigation remains ongoing by the NFL should another team pick up Brown for 2020.
