PiratesFest 2020 is coming soon.

Tuesday, the Pirates officially announced the annual event, taking place Jan. 25 at PNC Park from noon to 5 p.m. The all-day showcase will be presented by Chick-fil-A Pittsburgh and admission is free to the public.

At PiratesFest, visitors can expect free autograph sessions for kids aged 14 and under, as well as ticketed autograph sessions in the PNC Park Jim Beam Left Field Lounge, with more information provided here as the event nears.

In addition, eventgoers can expect:

  • Player and executive appearances
  • Photo opportunities in the Pirates dugout
  • Games and booths
  • Meet-and-greet opportunities with current and former Pirates
  • The 'Oh Say Can You Sing' National Anthem Finals
  • Free alumni autographs

Season ticket holders can get in early, with their activities kicking off from 9 a.m. to noon, including autograph sessions.

Notably, last season's PiratesFest offered a question-and-answer session with Neal HuntingtonFrank Coonelly and various Pirates coaches, giving fans a chance to pick their brains ahead of the season.

With the offseason changes this year for the club, new team president Travis Williams, new general manager Ben Cherington and others will likely be available for those hoping to get a feel for the new order in town.
