Kris Letang, Justin Schultz, Matt Murray, and Bryan Rust tried their hand at fashion design this season, and the results are pretty neat.
Each of the four designed a couple of team hats for the PensGear store, and they took their jobs pretty seriously:

Here are the final results.
KRIS LETANG
Letang is clearly partial to the vintage look, and is a fan of the old triangle robo-pigeon logo. I don't think the team currently sells any other merch with the old logo, so it's interesting to see that make a comeback:
JUSTIN SCHULTZ
Schultz also went with some old logos for his designs:
MATT MURRAY
Murray's designs are interesting, going with a more subtle look for the beanie and incorporating the keystone shape for his baseball hat:
BRYAN RUST
Like Murray, Rust went with the diagonal "Pittsburgh" logo:
The hats can be found here or in person at the PensGear stores. The Penguins Foundation will receive 10 percent of proceeds from sales.
