CRANBERRY, Pa. -- Antonio Brown spent his Sunday morning ranting on Twitter, a move that will surely increase his chances of earning a deal with a new team.
Brown began his rant by announcing that he doesn't want to play in the NFL anyway, blaming the league and taking no responsibility for his being cut twice in a matter of less than two weeks:
Brown then went on to refer to himself in the third person and say he was punished for "speculation," disregarding the emails he sent to his first accuser that were released, and the text messages that were released of him harassing his second accuser for coming forward:
Brown then brought up the accusations against Ben Roethlisberger, ignoring the fact that Brown wasn't suspended by the league and was allowed to play in Week 2 after the first allegations were made public:
This last one is the worst of them. The writer that broke the story of the second allegations against Brown has been getting harassed by fans on social media. Brown said that means the "system (is) working effectively."
Someone with his influence harassing his second accuser and praising fans for harassing the writer who reported the second accusations is a major contributing factor to why women hesitate to come forward to report abuses.
