Brown's distinguished run as a Patriot concludes after one game, in which he posted four receptions, 56 yards and one touchdown.
Amid sexual misconduct allegations, however, Brown forced the Patriots' hand, and the team released him on Friday ahead of their Week 3 matchup against the Jets.
The Patriots offered their thoughts:
A statement from the #Patriots: “The New England Patriots are releasing Antonio Brown. We appreciate the hard work of many people over the past 11 days, but we feel that it is best to move in a different direction at this time.”

Now, the question becomes: Will anybody else take a chance on Brown? Agent Drew Rosenhaus says Brown is hopeful:
It's unfortunate things didn't work out with the Patriots. But Antonio is healthy and is looking forward to his next opportunity in the NFL. He wants to play the game he loves and he hopes to play for another team soon.
