The Da Beauty League's regular season ended this week, and all Penguins players involved finished in pretty good standing.
Team Walser, captained by Nick Bjugstad, sits at the top of the league's standings with a record of 5-3. Team Jack Links, captained by Jake Guentzel and also featuring prospect Clayton Phillips, is tied for first with a record of 5-3.
Teddy Blueger's Team RBC is tied with Team TRIA for third with matching 4-4 records.
The semifinal round of the John Scott Cup playoffs will be held on Monday, Aug. 19. Walser and RBC will face off at 6 p.m., and Jack Links and TRIA will follow at 7:15 p.m. The winners will play in the championship game on Wednesday, Aug. 21.
Guentzel finished the season as the league's leading scorer, with 11 goals and 17 assists in eight games. Bjugstad finished fifth, with eight goals and 10 assists in seven games. Blueger scored three goals and four assists in six games, and Phillips recorded two goals and two assists in eight games.

Da Beauty League, established in 2015, is a summer league based in Minnesota for professional and college hockey players. Six teams play an eight-game regular season schedule and a two-game postseason schedule, competing for the John Scott Cup.
