The Steelers are one of the most popular teams in the NFL and have been for years, bringing in some of the best television ratings year in and year out while also packing opposing stadiums.
NFL Network plans to take advantage of that in August.
The NFL Network announced its schedule of the 13 games it will televise in the preseason, with two of those being Steelers home games.
The network will televise the Steelers' preseason opener Friday, Aug. 9 against the Buccaneers at Heinz Field. It also will broadcast the Steelers' second preseason game, Saturday, Aug. 17 at Heinz Field against the Chiefs.
The Steelers first two preseason games are at home, with their final two games on the road against the Titans and Panthers.
