Dominik Simon scored his third goal in as many games in the Czech Republic's 8-0 win over Austria on Sunday.
Simon scored 41 seconds into the third period to increase the Czech Republic's lead to 3-0. He now has three goals and five assists through six games.

Simon played 15:21, recording five shots and a plus-2 rating in the win.
• Evgeni Malkin was the only other Penguins player in action on Sunday. He was scoreless in Russia's 3-0 win over Switzerland, and recorded three shots in 16:19. He's still searching for his first goal of the tournament, and has recorded three assists through six games.

• The United Stated defeated Germany, 3-1. Former Penguins prospect Freddie Tiffels scored the first goal of the game for Germany off of a feed from Leon Draisaitl:
James van Riemsdyk, Dylan Larkin, and Jack Eichel scored for the U.S.
• Finland defeated France, 3-0. Finland outshot France, 32-11.
Two games on Monday's schedule feature Penguins players. Matt Murray and Jared McCann's Canadian team will face Denmark, and Patric Hornqvist and Marcus Pettersson will match up against Teddy Blueger when Sweden plays Latvia. Austria will play Italy, and France will play Great Britain.
