SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Sidney Crosby will miss tonight's All-Star Skills Competition due to illness, the Penguins announced Friday.

Crosby still plans on playing in Saturday night's three-on-three tournament.

Crosby likely would have participated in the accuracy shooting event, had he been healthy. He competed in the accuracy shooting challenge in 2017 and 2018, and won the event in 2017 when he hit four targets in 10.73 seconds:

Kris Letang is still expected to participate in both the Skills Competition and three-on-three tournament.
