RICHMOND, Va. -- If you were among the hardy fans who attended this game in person 40 years ago this week, I salute you.
I have hazy memories of watching as an 8-year-old, but thanks to YouTube, I was able to view the entire thing recently, and man, those conditions were about as miserable as I could imagine. Frigid puddles and icy rain, falling on cold, carpeted concrete ... I got chills just watching it!
By the way, all the copies of the Cartoon Canon book should have arrived by now, or will very soon. I’d love to hear what you think of it in the comments. And as always, thanks a million for reading it!
