RICHMOND, Va. -- In this very space not one week ago, I scoffed at the idea of marking the significance of any Steelers preseason game ... yet here I am commemorating an exhibition hockey game.
What can I say? I’m on vacation with my family this week, and I didn’t want to overthink things.
Besides, though the result was completely inconsequential (if immensely satisfying), you can’t deny the significance of the Penguins facing off against their destined, detested rivals in their very first game in uniform!
Man...anybody else miss hockey?
