For a second season, Major League Baseball will be having a Players' Weekend, featuring a relaxation of uniform rules and opportunities for players to showcase their personalities.
The jerseys worn during the Players' Weekend, which will take place Aug. 24-26, will feature bright colors, reminiscent of youth-league uniforms. The right sleeve of each jersey will feature a patch on which players can write the name of a person who either aided in their development or inspired them.
For the Pirates, the weekend falls during a three-game series in Milwaukee.
