Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell was named the AFC's Offensive Player of the Month for December, not a bad honor considering he didn't play in the team's regular season finale at Heinz Field against Cleveland.
Bell averaged 142.3 yards from scrimmage and scored six touchdowns in the four games he played in December, helping the Steelers (13-3) to a 4-1 record in the final portion of the regular season.
The Pro Bowl running back had 310 yards rushing and 259 yards receiving. It is the second player of the month award in Bell's career.
