Steelers rookie receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in last Sunday's 28-24 victory over the Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field.
Smith-Schuster had a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the third quarter of that game, breaking a 21-21 tie and helping the Steelers to their 13th victory of the season.
The rookie was the only player in the NFL this season to have two touchdowns of 90 or more yards. He also had a 97-yard touchdown catch in a win over Detroit earlier in the season.
Smith-Schuster's touchdown on a kick return was the first for the Steelers since Antonio Brown did so on his first NFL touch in 2010 at Tennessee in a Week 2 game.
Smith-Schuster also had nine receptions for 143 yards and a touchdown in the game, becoming the first Steelers player since Gary Ballman in 1958 to have both a receiving touchdown and a return touchdown in the same game.
