When the Ravens signed their newly crowned Super Bowl champion quarterback Joe Flacco to the most expensive contract in NFL history, many reasonably predicted that would have a lasting impact on the team's capabilities to gather more talent.
That time has come, and it can be seen on the offensive roster. While certain draft picks have impacted the offense such as Marshall Yanda and Dennis Pitta, the rest lacks significant playmakers. Baltimore has had no consistent running back since Ray Rice, and their best receiver is an aged Steve Smith, working with Mike Wallace, along with young players still finding their way in Kamar Aiken and Breshad Perriman.
