The NFL announced Thursday the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh will take place April 23-25.
The location of the draft, stage and other attractions has yet to be announced. However, Visit Pittsburgh said in a press release: "The main portion of the event is expected to incorporate elements of Pittsburgh’s North Shore and Point State Park, as well as Acrisure Stadium, with a variety of venues to be utilized and activated within close proximity."
The Steelers' bid for Pittsburgh to host the draft was approved in May 2024. It is undoubtedly the biggest NFL event the city can host outside of the Super Bowl, and it should provide a great economic boost for the city and Allegheny County. In hosting the 2024 NFL Draft, the city of Detroit reportedly saw an estimated $160 million impact.
