In its home opener, Robert Morris (2-1) had four players scoring in double figures and led from wire-to-wire in its 93-47 victory over Geneva on Monday night at the UPMC Events Center.
1st HALF
RMU established control early, gaining its first double-digit lead relatively quickly on a Nikolaos Chitikoudis layup at the 15:32 mark. They continued to build on that momentum, when Darius Livingston's layup gave them a commanding 20-point advantage, making the score 44-24 inside the final minute.
2nd HALF
A 23-11 run early in the 2nd half pushed RMU's lead to 30 points, making the score 65-35. The Colonials maintained control, extending the margin further when Cam Wilds' layup at the 5:47 mark made the score 80-40, increasing the Colonials' advantage to 40 points. The lead reached its highest point of 46 points with 50 seconds remaining after Eddie Cooke III's free throws, which completed the scoring for the night.
