In addition to having to fill the voids left by key graduating seniors and players already in the transfer portal, Pitt may also have to replace its leading scorer from this season.
Jaland Lowe reportedly plans to enter the transfer portal after averaging 16.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game during his sophomore season with the Panthers. Lowe, an All-ACC third-team selection, is expected to enter the portal with a "do not contact" tag and a return to Pitt is an option, per reports.
There are already four Pitt players in the transfer portal in Amsal Delalic, Guillermo Diaz Graham, Jorge Diaz Graham and Marlon Barnes, Jr. There are five scholarship players on the Panthers' roster at the moment: Cam Corhen, Brandin Cummings, Papa Kante, Amdy Ndiaye and incoming freshman OmariWitherspoon.
