Reports: Delalic, Diaz Graham twins entering transfer portal
After spending his freshman season at Pitt, Amsal Delalic is entering the transfer portal, per ArmanJovic. He, according to Jeff Goodman, will be joined in the portal by Guillermo and Jorge Diaz Graham.
Delalic, a 6-foot-8 guard, appeared in 21 games and made two starts for the Panthers after missing the start of the season due to hand injury. He averaged 3.8 points and shot 46% from the field in 13.3 minutes per game. Delalic played a season-high 37 minutes against Ohio State on Nov. 29 and had his best offensive performance against Miami on Feb. 15, as he scored 14 points behind a 6-for-13 showing from the field.
Guillermo is a 7-foot forward who started in 25 of the Panthers' 32 games this past season. He averaged 6.2 points and 5.0 rebounds while playing 23.2 minutes per game. He was a 42% shooter from the field and a 32% three-point shooter.
Jorge, a 6-foot-11 forward, was used primarily off the bench as he spent an average of 7.2 minutes on the floor in 29 games. He averaged 3.1 points and nearly a rebound per game. His impact was mostly felt from beyond the arc, as he converted on 20 of 42 (47.6%) three-point attempts.
The brother tandem spent three seasons with the Panthers after becoming Pitt’s first international recruits from Spain. With the addition of Delalic and the twins, there are now four Pitt players in the portal after Marlon Barnes Jr. entered on Sunday.
There are five remaining scholarship players on Pitt's roster: Jaland Lowe, Cam Corhen, Brandin Cummings, Papa Kante and Amdy Ndiaye. There is also one incoming freshman in Omari Witherspoon, a 6-foot-4 guard from St. John's College Prep in Washington, D.C.
