According to the Swedish outlet HockeyNews.se, Kyle Dubas is in Sweden scouting the club Djurgarden in the second-tier league, the Allsvenskan. Dubas told the outlet he is scouting the two Djurgarden players expected to be first-round draft picks this summer, winger Victor Eklund and center Anton Frondell.
Eklund, 18, is a right-handed shot listed at 5 foot 11 and 161 pounds. He recorded 19 goals and 12 assists in 42 regular-season games. He's the younger brother of Sharks forward William Eklund.
Frondell, 17, is a left-handed shot listed at 6 feet and 196 pounds. He had 11 goals and 14 assists in 29 regular-season games.
