The Penguins will practice this morning at 11 a.m. for the first time since extending their win streak to four games with a victory over the Devils on Saturday. I’ll have coverage of the morning session from the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex.

• With three points over his last two games, Timmins has noticeably made a quick adjustment to his new team after being acquired from Toronto at the trade deadline. Sullivan said that's a credit to how good of a player he is, as well as the high hockey IQ he possesses.
"I think that's what allows him to transition, his ability to think the game, and that's something that we noticed early on. He has aptitude, he's got a hockey IQ, he sees it pretty well on both sides of the puck," Sullivan said. "Quinny talks to him a lot, and we're adding more detail to his understanding of our our team concept. And he picks things up quickly. We think he's getting better with each game he plays. We really like what he's brought to our team so far."
• MikeSullivan confirmed that Joseph and Shea skated this morning. Their statuses have not changed. Novak is continuing to progress off the ice, but he didn't skate today.
• Different looks during power-play drills here. Letang and Karlsson were working on the penalty kill during the early portion before trading in their yellow sweaters for black ones and returning to power-play work. Aho and Kolyachonok were working with the power-play units at one point.
• No changes compared to the lines and pairings used against New Jersey this weekend:
Rickard Rakell - Sidney Crosby - Bryan Rust Danton Heinen - Evgeni Malkin - Phil Tomasino Connor Dewar - Blake Lizotte - Noel Acciari Boko Imama - Kevin Hayes - Emil Bemstrom
Vladislav Kolyachonok - Kris Letang Matt Grzelcyk - Erik Karlsson Ryan Graves - Conor Timmins Matt Nieto and Sebastian Aho are the extras
• Some hard defense played by ErikKarlsson on SidneyCrosby just now. The two battled near the net and the latter eventually went down. Appeared to be fine afterwards.
• No TommyNovak (lower-body injury), P.O. Joseph (upper-body injury) or Ryan Shea (upper-body). The latter two skated on their own in white jerseys prior to the start of practice.
• Good morning everyone! Looks like all healthy skaters are accounted for this morning.
