RICHMOND, Va. -- When you're a football-crazy grade schooler, as I was when I watched this game way back in 1978, and your favorite team wins a game on a flea-flicker touchdown play in overtime – against your dad's favorite team, no less – well, it just doesn't get any better.

This little bit of unexpected trickery by the normally no-nonsense Chuck Noll inspired months of copycat playground maneuvers, and stands as my earliest memory of watching, and truly getting, this great game.
