There'll be no full-blown Friday Insider today.
Not because I don't have stuff. I've actually got more stuff than usual. I just don't feel great about the lede entry that I'd been working on all week, and I'm not going to run it until I feel great about it. Meaning the veracity, the accuracy and so forth. It's one thing to have volume, and it's quite another to have it add up to substance, and I'm not there yet on this specific subject.
So what I've got left is a lot of little items, single-sentence fodder like how Rowdy Tellez won't last another week with the Pirates if he keeps performing as he has -- which is the truth, by the way -- but not nearly enough to compensate for delaying the lede.
Sorry, I'm not the click-chasing type. I'd rather eat one than put it out feeling queasy about it. Hope you understand.
Unrelated to this: I'm flying to North Carolina this evening for Dara's graduation from college, which is Saturday morning in Winston-Salem, so I won't be around in the Asylum as much as usual. Not sure about Site Stuff or Live Qs, either, but I'll try on both.
