Watts, both Wilsons sign their rookie deals with Steelers taken on the South Side (Steelers)

Ryan Watts.

Third-round picks Roman Wilson and Payton Wilson and sixth-round pick Ryan Watts signed their rookie contracts with the Steelers Saturday afternoon.

Each rookie gets a four-year deal, per the team. Financials were not disclosed.

Watts played in 19 games over two seasons at Ohio State before transferring to Texas in 2022. He was an honorable-mention All-Big 12 selection after that 2022 season and played in 24 more games over the course of his two seasons at Texas.

Roman Wilson was coveted in the draft process by Mike Tomlin after a breakout season for national-champion Michigan. He played 206 of his 300 snaps in 2023 inside of the slot. He had 30 catches for 476 yards from that spot. He was reliable for first-rounder J.J. McCarthy as he dropped just one of his 67 targets in 2023.

Payton Wilson earned many accolades, including the Butkus Award, during his seasoned career at N.C. State. Despite an injury history that includes a torn ACL in his senior year of high school and a second knee injury sustained as a freshman at N.C. State, Wilson's tape caught Teryl Austin's eye in the scouting process.

Logan Lee and Mason McCormick signed their entry level deals Friday.
