We'll likely have to wait until Mike Tomlin's Tuesday press conference for a formal announcement, but it looks like the Steelers may have settled the situation regarding their starting quarterback.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Steelers are "expected to move forward with rookie QB Kenny Pickett, sources say, as the first-rounder is set to replace Mitch Trubisky in the lineup."

Rapoport goes on to say, "Pickett saw his first action on Sunday and is slated to be the QB moving forward."
Neither Tomlin nor the Steelers have officially announced or confirmed anything regarding the quarterback situation.
Trubisky's time as the starting quarterback has not gone well. His 5.6 yards per attempt ranks dead last in the NFL, while only completing 59.5% of his passes. The offense has produced only four touchdowns in 14 quarters with Trubisky at the helm.
Pickett, however, was brought in by Tomlin to spark the offense in the second half of Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Jets. Despite throwing three interceptions -- two of which not really his fault -- Pickett did just that, producing two touchdown drives in the second half to give the Steelers a 10-point lead early in the fourth quarter.
Trubisky was brought in on a two-year contract worth $14,285,000, but Pickett was selected 20th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft for a reason: He's the future at quarterback.
If Tomlin confirms the report Tuesday afternoon, it looks like that future began Sunday afternoon.
