Da Beauty League is a Minnesota-based summer league that allows professional and college players to have fun and raise money for local charities while getting in some game action in the offseason.

That doesn't mean that the players don't take the games seriously, though.

The first round of Da Beauty League playoffs were held on Monday night, and Teddy Blueger had himself a game.

Blueger scored four goals and three assists in a 12-3 win for his Team Tradition to eliminate Team Element and advance to the John Scott Cup Final, which will be held on Wednesday evening.

Blueger scored his first goal in the first half of the game to put Tradition up 5-1. He assisted on Tradition's opening goal of the second half, a tally from Flyers forward prospect Jackson Cates. Blueger scored his second goal of the game five minutes later to put Tradition up 7-2:

Blueger recorded a primary assist less than a minute later on a goal from free agent forward Tyler Pitlick, then another primary assist on a goal from Maple Leafs defenseman Justin Holl shortly after.

Blueger completed the hat trick with 3:55 remaining in the game to increase Tradition's lead to 10-3. Holl made it an 11-3 game, then Blueger scored his fourth goal to make it 12-3 in quick succession.

Team Element's Vinni Lettieri, a forward who signed with the Bruins this summer, didn't like that.

Lettieri and Blueger exchanged words while skating the length of the ice after Blueger's fourth goal, and the two dropped the gloves. It was a legitimate fight, with both players exchanging punches and Blueger leaving Lettieri bloodied:

It was the first fight in the history of Da Beauty League, which was founded in 2015.

Blueger is one of several Penguins players playing in the league this summer. Team Tradition's opponent in Wednesday's championship game is Team TRIA, a team that includes Jason Zucker and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton defenseman Mitch Reinke. Zucker's team eliminated Jake Guentzel's Team BIC in the semifinal round. Other participants in the league this summer included newly-acquired forward Ryan Poehling and forward prospect Tristan Broz.

Guentzel finished the regular season as the league's leading scorer, with 37 points in eight games. His 19 goals ranked second in the league behind Lettieri.
